(I am so creative with my thread titles. Alfred and Arthur for now~)
"Watch it!" Arthur Kirkland pulled his suitcase closer to his body as another student walking down the narrow dormitory hall nearly collided with him, barely acknowledging the Briton's presence. Bloody git... He thought to himself, rather irately, about how inconsiderate people were being as he struggled to get past a student who was working on entering the passkey to a dorm room, leaving suitcases sprawled around the floor.
It was a crowded morning as students, fresh off the opening ceremony, rushed into the dormitories with their suitcases and backpacks, eager to move into their homes for the school year. Arthur knew he had the choice to live outside of the school this year, however he found the idea of travelling between the nearest town and the school a daunting task. Despite his desire to avoid a problematic roommate as much as possible, it was a risk he was willing to take.
Arthur arrived in front of the seemingly wooden door with keyboard above a knob without a key. He glanced up at the golden plate on the door. "Room 20." Excellent. He pulled his suitcase out of the way of other students in the hallway, fumbling for the paper in his pocket that contained the passkey, quickly typing out the random number sequence.
3.14-15-92-65-35 are digits of pi.
After a small beeping noise, Arthur pushed the door open and glanced inside. Empty and dark. Arthur grimaced as he closed the door behind him, wondering what kind of person his roommate would be. He carefully set his suitcase on the bed nearest to the door before going over to the windowsill to draw the curtains and shed some light into the room. Once again, he had no idea who his roommate was until whoever he was arrived. Hopefully he's not loud or messy.
