Name and Number: Ivan Braginski; 27
Nation: Russia
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Year: Fourth year/Senior
Birthday: December 30
Team: Blue
Personality: Ivan is best described as an Adult Child with slightly psychopathic tendencies at times. He doesn’t always understand social boundaries, but in all honesty he only wants to be friends with everyone. Beyond that, he actually already believes that everyone is his friend, but he often comes across as creepy or scary instead.
History: Stricken with many tragic events mixed with a few good memories. He's been through many different phases in life each radically different. His home has had many people go in and out of his life.
Of his most vivid memories is the time he spent as a child with his friend, Anya. Anya had been a part of a rich family (as was Ivan) and was very well-liked among the people who met her. Ivan had always admired Anya for her poise, tact, and charisma. However, due to a "family friend", Anya's father made some enemies who, in order to lure him into their trap decided to kidnap Anya and "hold her for ransom." However, because Anya and Ivan spent almost every day together, they ended up both being kidnapped. While their kidnappers waited for Anya's father to come, Anya acted up and cried in a very loud manner. The man guarding the two children panicked and in an attempt to make Anya be quiet opened their cell and hit her on the head with a blunt object. Underestimating his own strength and not taking into account how small Anya was, the guard had unwittingly killed the small girl. With this accident, the guard panicked more and ended up leaving the cell open while he ran off to figure out what to do. Ivan managed to stumble his way out of the building only to collapse temporarily until he was eventually found by some travelers who returned him home.
In another tragic turn of events, when Ivan was a bit older, his parents got into a car accident and were killed. As a result, Ivan ended up living without his two sisters who were sent off to Ukraine and Belarus.
Through these sad events, he began to change in many ways over the years. Due to his drastic change in personality (and possibly sanity), by the time he reached high school age his legal guardians in Russia decided to send him to a certain academy they'd heard had a good reputation in order to "help him work through his problems." So it was that Ivan set off for World Academy.
((Um, sorry for the fail? OTL And, if we get any Baltics, or a Ukraine or Belarus, I definitely want to talk out relationships and histories C: I’m leaving this as… vague as possible for now x’D))
School Identity: He’s been attending the school for two years prior and this will be his third year at World Academy. Due to the lack of flowers (in his opinion) on campus, he’s made plans to start a gardening club—very specifically so he can grow a bunch of sunflowers.
Skills: He’s learned patience over the years through tending for plants (a rare place of peace for Ivan) and although it may not necessarily be a “skill” he’s… very good at getting what he wants—even if that means just simply smiling at someone until they agree with him (I’m looking at you, Artie). He also has a great deal of physical strength, though he tried not to use it unless he has a real purpose to (it’s very useful for his espionage excursions).
RP Sample:
Ivan had never been one to rush anywhere, especially not when his destination was the auditorium where he’d hear the same opening speech that he'd heard the year before and the year before that. He arbitrarily chose a seat that he found convenient to sit in all the while with the ever-present, aloof smile on his face.
Just as he'd expected, the speech started out as boring as every other year--that is until the alleged Principal Rome mentioned an entirely new twist to the school year: teams. Ivan found himself a little more interested. He watched as others were called up to decide what team they wanted to be on and son forth. He though for a moment, 'What team do I want to be on?"
"Male. Russia. Number 27."
Ivan slowly stood and ambled toward the stage. He got into the microphone, still smiling, "Ah, I'd like to be on the blue team. It'll be very nice, da?"
With that, Ivan slightly bowed his head and walked off the stage--glad to have something interesting to look forward to for the year.
Other: HEY THERE, GUYS.
Ne, short RP post is short. If I need to edit it, let me know, Jao~
