This basically has nothing to do with the role-play, or even Hetalia, but I think some of you might like it.
How to Type in Japanese
1) Go to the Control Panel
2) Choose whatever option it is on your computer that controls the Language you type in
3) Choose "Change keyboards or other input methods"
4) "Change keyboards"
5) Add a language
6) Expand "Japanese (Japan)", then expand "keyboards", then choose "Microsoft IME"
7) Apply and choose OK
When you choose Japanese as the typing language, you can choose whether you want to type in hiragana or katakana where the language toolbar is. Simply type as if you're typing in romanji, and the characters will show up. If you type something that can be changed into kanji, hit space and it'll happen automatically. Hit space again when it's still highlighted to choose between the different kanji available. For example, if I type in "himitsu" and hit space, it'll become the kanji for "secret".
If you use the IME pad (sometimes you have to choose "Additional Icons in Taskbar" first - just right click on the language toolbar), you can draw in a kanji and choose from the selection it gives you.
I can get my computer to show me the pronounciations to the kanji I've entered, but I'm not sure if it's because my computer in Chinese-based. Try out some of the Word functions and see if you can get the hiragana to the kanji above the kanji.
If you have any questions, I'll try and help, but I'm not quite familiar with this either, so we can all learn together.
Have fun!
